On Slipknot's recent album (do they call them albums?) Joey Jordison
uses his 4 years of Drum Corps experience on "The Blister Exists".

I believe Slipknot is out of Iowa.

Hmmmmm. Anyone know of Joey Jordison's drum corps experience?

As far as I know it was only marching band he did participate in. He was
going to do drum corps but ended up getting signed with Slipknot and dropped
out of corps all together to start his quite successful career in the
nu-metal genre.

Thanks Adam. I knew he wasn't "THAT" good! ;-) (kidding!)

I don't think he's great at all actually. He's extremely overrated and made
out more by the fans than what he actually is. Sure he can play blazin'
fast parts all around the kit but that's all he does and it doesn't impress
me. Check out his solo from the Disasterpiece tour:

Anyone with some musical background, and it doesn't have to be percussion,
can clearly see that solo isn't that great. There is many other metal
drummers out there that would drum circles around the short frail guy named
Joey Jordison.

Be as it may I'll leave you to decide whether he's good or not. I won't
flame you for your opinion or thought of Joey Jordison. I'm not like that.

Adam,

In all honesty, I didn't think he was that great! ;-)
